It already means a lot to me no matter what happens this week! I really enjoy being able to tell people about my research, and those communication skills are an essential part of being an engineer. If I were to win, it would make me very proud of these skills and that my work interests and inspires hopefully the next generation, (that’s you, everyone we’ve chatted to, and everyone that’s asked a question), of future engineers, scientists and innovators. What has taking part in I’m an Engineer meant to you?

It’s always good to be recognised, and having £500 to spend on outreach would be very welcome. But I think this is also one of these events where the taking part is the fun part.
I hope you are inspired to become an Engineer 🙂

Quite obviously it would mean that I can easier do what I intend to do anyway.
I didn’t enter this challenge even knowing there is a price. My aim was to raise awareness about GIS, engineering, science, etc. … and I think I’m doing quite alright with that 🙂
