What a fantastic question, I am really going to have to think about this. I think I would like to ask my grandad what he did at Bletchley park and whether he ever meet Alan Turin. If you have not heard of Bletchley park it is where the world war 2 code breakers worked intercepting and decoding enemy messages. My grandad died many years ago and never spoke about his time at Bletchley park so we have no idea what he actually did. We know he worked there because we have a photo of him there and my mother remembers visiting him there. For many years after he worked there his work would have still been covered by the official secrets act so he couldn’t say what he had done. Now after so many years its no longer a secret so he could tell us without fear of going to prison.
