That was a long time ago so I will try and remember….An astronaut. There were times I wanted to be a paleontologist, (like when Jurassic park came out), a volcanologist, or an archaeologist and study the ancient Egyptians. The consistent thing was I wanted to be some sort of scientist, even though it changed about a bit! What do you want to to be?

When I was 7 I wanted to be a policewoman when I was 10 I got my first guitar and I wanted to be a rock star – I was singing as well. When I was about 16-17 I was a co-signer in a rock band and seeing how much work it takes to have a good band I decided it is not going to be my future.
For a substantial amount of time, I didn’t really know who I wanted to be when I grow up. Only at the age of 29, after working in different sectors of GIS I decided this is what I want to do and I enrolled to UNIGIS UK.

That is such a long time ago that I can’t remember, might have been a racing driver. I have two sons and my 18 old son still hasn’t decided what he is going to do so you probably have plenty of time to think this over. What I would say is that the better you do at school the more choices you will have later on. I didn’t really do that well at school myself so I had to do a lot of catching up when I was older which isn’t the best way to do it. What I told my sons was to think about what interested them and go with that. If you are interested in something you will do better in it because learning isn’t such hard work and later it becomes something you enjoy doing.
