Mission X is a programme that was developed by NASA and ESA that runs across the world and gets students involved in activities that demonstrate aspects of astronaut training in terms of the physical exercise, nutrition and what you eat, and how all of this works in the space environment. It’s all about getting people active and engaged with science and space, just like me! There’s a lot of information on the website and you can access some of the activities to get an idea of what it’s about. It can be a bit of a challenge, if you like that, but mostly it’s a great opportunity for people to experience what a trainee astronaut might and learn a lot along the way. I just answered another question about why I wanted people to get involved in Mission X too, so if you read that you can hopefully see why I think it’s a great thing for everyone to be involved in!
